Up at 5, at work by 7 and constantly prepared, Chris is one of the unusual creatives that understands two things: 1.) the importance of owning an atomic clock and 2.) why everything we do has makes sense. This creative pragmatism was a result of starting his career, not as an art director, but as an account executive. Soon after ditching his khakis and polo,
he became an art director after attending the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and Chicago Portfolio School, where he now teaches design history. He has worked at several large agencies in Chicago and abroad including Hoffman York, BBDO, Upshot and AdCom. His past clent experience includes Fifth-Third Bank, Weber Grill Restaurants, Fannie-May Candies, Arlington Park, The University of Notre Dame, Disney, Wrigley, Intersport (Europe’s Sports Authority) and Sun-Rich Gourmet Foods.
In his spare time he teahces at Columbia College and Chicago Portfolio School, as well as, volunteers for a local Chicago not-for-profit, Rock for Kids.
As our founder, he brings passion, big agency smarts and plenty of ginseng to the table.
